Dirty Bomb renamed Extraction, to be published by Nexon - We're excited to reveal that Splash Damage is partnering with Nexon America to operate our free-to-play multiplayer shooter Extraction in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Known as Dirty Bomb during our limited Closed Alpha, Extraction is set in London, now abandoned after a mysterious radiological attack. Groups of mercenaries now fight to extract (ah ha!) the secrets left behind. Read on to find out about our new partnership with Nexon, what’s changing (hint: nothing much), and Extraction’s debut at PAX this month.

Dirty Bomb heisst jetzt Extraction, und wird von Nexon veröffentlicht - Die Umbenennung des Online-Shooters hat Spielentwickler Splash Damage nun gegenüber der englischsprachigen Webseite vg247.com bestätigt. Warum man den Titel umbenannt hat, ist bisher noch unklar.
Allerdings gibt es mittlerweile auch eine neue Teaser-Webseite zum neuen Projekt der Macher von Enemy Territory und Brink . Unter extraction.nexon.net finden sich einige Teaser-Bilder und eine Anmeldemöglichkeit für einen Newsletter. Zudem enthüllt die URL den bisher unbekannten Publisher des Spiels: Nexon wird sich für den Vertrieb verantwortlich zeichnen. Gut möglich, dass das Unternehmen im Rahmen dieser Partnerschaft auch eine Umbenennung des Spiels forcierte.
